Project 1: 5MW Solar Power Plant 

Matabeleland North Province, Tsholotsho District (EPC Model)

  • We are currently developing a 5-megawatt solar power plant in Tsholotsho under an EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) model.
  • This means Oobz Energy oversees the full project from design and procurement to construction and commissioning.
  • Once operational, this plant will feed clean energy into the local grid, powering communities, creating jobs, and contributing to Zimbabwe’s renewable energy targets.

Project 2: Smart City Energy Transition Programme

Oobz Energy is driving a bold, people-focused energy transition through our Smart City programme helping households and small businesses switch to solar energy.

We are currently:

  • Installing solar home systems in Low, Medium & High-Density suburbs
  • Equipping growth points with solar streetlights and mini-grids
  • Supporting SMEs with rooftop solar solutions
